Beschreibung

Thoren is a continent-sized land that existed in a time other than our own. It is a mountainous land where Three great cities each have people very different from the others. Thoren, the largest city, is in the far east near the great chasm that divides the land from the distant lands on the other side. The seas completely surround the land and confine its people from venturing too far from the land because of strange boiling or folding seas which would swallow up a vessel as quick as the blink of an eye. A great lake rests in the center of the land of Thoren, which has rivers flowing toward Thoren in the East, Bern in the west, Norse in the far north, and southward into a stinking swamp where a people called the Muse live. There amongst them, a great evil festers and plots to take over all the lands of Thoren. Mystical humans called Guildsmen answer to an unseen God, Elohim, who orders their steps, allowing them only to advise the other people, always pointing them toward the good path. Goshen has risen up from a mere commoner to become a great general and, with the help of the Guildsmen, eventually fights a pitched war to save a nation. His great love, Helen of Thoren, is brilliant, a great leader in her own right, and demonstrates some superhuman abilities. Everyone on the great land is locked in a struggle for survival that will someday end in a great reckoning by Elohim himself.
