This book, Little Blossoms on Lifes Path, is a collection of poems authored by Jessica James and is sequenced in the order of age. This shows the change in how she observes every detail around her, from her childhood to her teenage. Most of her poems are nature-related and agonizes when she sees the ruination of Mother Earth. Poems like The Swing by R. L. Stevenson, Where the Mind is without Fear by Rabindranath Tagore, and The Skylark by Christina Rossetti have greatly inspired her in her writing. Many of the poems were composed by her when she was asked to deliver a poem based on a theme in her school assemblies. This collection of poems shows her scrutiny in nature and her love for her family, friends, teachers, and animals. All her poems are based on a variety of topics revolving around life, which has given rise to the title of this book, Little Blossoms on Lifes Path.
