Lighting Problems in Highway Traffic provides information pertinent to the problems in highway traffic. This text then examines the part played by the vision in the driving of vehicles. Other chapters consider the visual acuity, which varies greatly with the luminance of objects, with their contrasts, and with the presence of uneven luminosity conditions such as one encounters on the highways.
