Charlotte Brontë (1816 – 31 March 1855) was an English novelist and poet, and the oldest sister in the world-famous trio of literary sisters. Along with her sisters', her novels have become classics of English literature still read and enjoyed by people of all ages the world over. Contents include: “The Story Of Jane Eyre”, “Early History Of The Brontës”, “The Family At Haworth”, “Life As A Governess”, “The Turning-Point”, “Authorship And Bereavement”, “Shirley”, “Loneliness And Fame”, “Villette”, “Marriage And Death”, “Posthumous Honours”, etc. Sir Thomas Wemyss Reid (1842 – 1905) was an English novelist, newspaper editor, and biographer. Other notable works by this author include: “Politicians of To-day: A Series of Personal Sketches” (1880), “The Land of the Bey” (1882), and “Gladys Fane” (1883).
