There are plenty of highlights to choose from in this book, whether it is DeJuan proudly expressing his love and joy for his lovely wife, and beautiful daughters, his informative passages revealing the treacheries of institutional racism, the sheer suspense or comedy of his cautionary tales, or his conscious voice speaking directly to the Black community.
