From depression over the seemingly unending hurt to the desire to give up on love altogether; the conviction that you must be unlovable and the desperation to cling to the happy feelings that started it all; and looking for ways things could have been different before allowing yourself to indulge in hope for the future-humans from the dawn of civilization have experienced the unique agony that comes from a breakup, and in this collection of poetry, readers will find empathy and even solace in knowing that they're not alone in having lost love. In the LGBTQ community, negativity can be all too common. Sadly, it's become too easy to simply download an app and swipe right on the next guy without having to process the emotional side of a breakup.
