The Builder is an illustrated Christian children's book, written in allegorical form. It presents the message of the importance of building our lives on the Rock, which is Christ. A young boy initially rejects building his home upon the Rock. After failing in attempts to build using sand, and then wood, he finally recognizes the wisdom and joy of embracing the Rock as the only sure foundation on which to build his life.
