WHEN THE NEW HOMEOWNER AT 1 DEMOCRACY WAY, DEMOCRACY, AMERICAM, evicts his immigrant insect and spider squatters and schedules another review in 30 days, the survivors decide to elect a leader to help them control their population growth before the deadline. Spider frontrunner Maxell and his sponsor Brent plan to steal the election and appoint only male spiders as leaders, to create a pure Spider Democracy. Meanwhile, housefly frontrunner Namama tries to build an interspecies female coalition, unsuccessful everywhere, to win, stop them, and foster an Inclusive Tribal Democracy. Their lifespans also demand a quick primary and general election. But spider Delilah, Maxell’s campaign strategist, joins the coalition and dates a housefly politician. The scandal distracts his campaign, and his team kidnaps her lover. To save him, Delilah must do whatever it takes to enter the race and win. Brent claims that tribalism wins elections, not strategy, politics, religion, or money.
