Yes, There Are Stupid Questions is unique in the self-help genre. A short read, and the opener of a trilogy called Off the Chest, it answers ten subconscious questions people ask when pursuing their goals in life and addresses topics such as religion, love, money, and happiness.
Deliberately concise, Rob Fisher is a debut author with a new style of writing that he calls Off the Chest. Both the title of his trilogy and his self-proclaimed "style," he uses brevity and his voice to "get things off his chest." He says, "I write until I'm done talking, and when I'm done talking, I don't write anymore." He claims that good writing is succinct and that he "doesn't write lengthy bullsh*t." Unique and uncompromising, he packs a sarcastic bite while remaining genuine. He says that self-help isn't about "making your bed or waking up at 5 a.m.," and that he tackles "real issues to help you grow."
The first of three short reads, you'll enjoy his combination of stories, sarcasm, and authenticity. He says that Yes, There Are Stupid Questions will likely be "read on a subway," or "found next to a toilet."
