Promise Hernandez is her father’s greatest asset to the world. Her quick wit and thirst for knowledge makes her an asset to her family’s empire. She is all set to continue her grandfather’s legacy until she crosses that line between love and war. Promise find comfort in the arms of Kyree Pierre who just happens to be the son of her father’s archenemy, Frantz Pierre. Promise’s loyalty is questioned. Though she tries to keep the relationship innocent, love creeps in and turn her life upside. Kyree and Promise tries to end the beef between their fathers for the sake of them being in love. They have their chance when Vega sweeps into town. Vega, a traveling thief, has arrived in Atlanta. He and his crew, Tango and Pac, goes from city to city and state to state causing havoc. The trio shakes up the city with their mischievous actions. The crew targets both the East and the West stealing drugs, money, and anything else they could get their hands on. Vega’s hits are barely enough for them to live off of and he is in search of a bigger payday. Promise and Kyree see this as an opportunity to bring both side together to take down Vega. But neither father is willing to budge. No one can be trusted in this street war. Promise has to find a way to be loyal to her family while perusing the budding relationship between her Kyree. Nothing is what it seems and no one is who they appear to be. Secrets and lies usually ends in death. At the end of the day we all know that there is a thin line between love and war.
