The shoe on the cover is called Freedom 2000, and it the flagship model from the Z-Coil Shoe Company of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The show is definitely not a gimmick, and when you put the shoe on, you know immediately that is isn't gimmick!

The shoe was designed to reduce all the impact to the body as we walk or run, and it does a great job of doing just that. The spring is so strong, you will notice that the spring will return the energy you have put in the shoe as you walk.

The full line of Z-CoiL products is designed with a rigid built in orthotic, which gives the shoe unmatched support across the middle part of the foot. In addition to the great support and unmatched cushioning of the spring, the shoes have a cushioned rocker bottom in the forefoot. This allows for the wearer to roll right off the front of the shoe. We encourage anyone that hasn't tried on a Z-CoiL shoe to at least slip on a pair and walk around the block.
