Many Christians, seasoned or new to the body, just do not know how to pray effectively. While Christ gave his life for us to gain salvation, the Christian walk only begins there. Jesus seeks a daily relationship with us. As members of his body, we must actively work to use our prayers in spiritual war fair, and place a hedge of protection around ourselves, our family, and the rest of the body of Christ. We also must use effective, fervent prayers to combat sickness, financial burdens, and everyday burdens we face in our walk. Most Christians do not realize, the responsibility to fight the good fight of faith will require daily prayer, and fasting. While some battles may be quickly won, some may take days or weeks to realize victory. All take faith, and an understanding that while God wills victory, it is not automatic, but through deliberate faith that we experience success.
