To be a best friend is a privileged position. As you develop fine qualities, you will become a wonderful person. Listed below are some of the qualities of a true friend.
1. Accept the person for who he is.
2. A true friend is rare, so appreciate him.
3. Keep personal information he shares with you, to yourself.
4. Treat him the same way you want him to treat you.
5. Honesty keeps warmth in the friendship.
6. Respect your friend’s opinions and tastes.
7. Be happy for your friend when he is successful and do not be envious.
8. Your friend should be able to trust you.
A true friend adds value to his friends by encouraging him to rise higher. He knows his friends well and he likes and respects them, regardless of their strengths and flaws. Be the type of friend you would like for yourself.
