America is more divided than ever before, and political corruption is at an all-time high. Fraud, bribery, and scandals are all just part of another average day in Washington. Bought by corporations, lobbyists, and foreign governments, those that were meant to represent the people instead represent the interests of those with the most money. Instead of creating laws for the benefit of the people, laws are created to increase the wealth and power of those who hold it, and they are not going to give it up without a fight.
Republicans and Democrats, in their quest for domination of DC, have begun to resort to desperate measures to defeat the other party. Everything from extortion to media manipulation to murder – nothing is off the table when complete control is on the line. It’s time for a change, but can anyone overcome the stranglehold the two-party system has on America?
Trevor Backe believes he has the idea that will finally break the cycle of exploitation of the American public. Beginning his new political party as a grassroots movement with no millionaire funding or corporate backing, he decides to take on the giants by creating a third party whose sole purpose is to end their reign in DC.
Momentum begins to build for Trevor’s New Day Party as more concerned citizens become weary of the status quo, but overthrowing a corrupt government with ruthless leaders who will stop at nothing to maintain their grip on society will not come without struggle. With revolution, there will always be a price to pay. Will the price be too high for Trevor Backe, or can he successfully pull off what no other political contender has before?
