This book introduces a new approach to the delivery of digital services based on the prioritisation of resources and of addressing critical success factors (CSF) at identified stages of the project implementation. In doing so, this book draws upon the latest insights within this field [1]. It is also underpinned by empirical research carried out within a customer-facing organisation (CFO) undertaking digital transformation through an enterprise resource planning (ERP) II implementation. Finally, this book draws attention to the serious consequences of the underinvestment in training [2] and outlines the importance in tacking technical-isomorphism and system atrophy [3].
This book is structured into three categories:
