His researches take him from London to Edinburgh, thence to the north-west tip of Scotland, where, accompanied by the mysteriously intangible Kathryn Hathaway, he discovers The Conglomerates’s dreadful secret, Palimpsest, and solves the riddle of AA Flight 301.
