In part 3 of this legendary love story, Shanecia reaches her breaking point after realizing that her involvement with Legend has brought her close to death way too many times and decides to return to Spelman as a single woman. After finding Danny with Alicia, Maliah has seemingly cured herself of the love that she still had for her children's father and dives into her relationship with Murk. One thing she's learned is that, although he is everything she thought she wanted, it's not easy being with a man who has learned to settle all of his problems by way of his trigger finger. A few surprises lead to them learning things about each other as they go through situations they've never gone through together before. Will they be able to stick it out or will Maliah's fear of letting go and allowing Murk to love her, the way a man should love his woman, push him away?
Tanecia can't help the fact that she's falling for Darin, the man who has always loved her even though she barely loved herself. So, finally, she gives in and decides to give her heart to the man who should have had it from the beginning. But just as she gives in to her feelings for him, a surprise comes knocking at the door. A surprise in the form of a very pregnant, beautiful woman. With the birth of a new relationship being interrupted by the impending birth of Darin's first child, Tanecia is left to deal with her new feelings for him and she also has to come to terms with her grief for the child she lost while also adjusting to the presence of another woman. Will she be able to set her issues to the side to build a loving relationship with Darin or will she let her own issues destroy what they have before it gets a chance to really start?
