Prayer, in particular, keeps the connection open to God for the faith and hope in the Holy Spirit who keeps us moving in God’s direction. Prayer is the means of God’s guidance, love, and mercy. It makes a difference in what we think, how we relate to others, and our desire to please God. There is power in prayer, hope, and faith that opens the door to eternal life in Heaven.
