From the moment her dog leaves her broken in the mud, it's a wild ride. At the mercy of policemen who legally can't touch her and EMTs who legally can drug her, she winds up in trauma surgery at a hospital where a mystery rash is sweeping the wards. Between the missionary housekeeper who insists she come to Jesus and the giggling nurses who sneak snaps of her derriere, this true story would be a tragedy if it wasn't so ludicrous. Once she finally makes it home, she must deal with imminent financial ruin because her insurance company denies her existence. The absurdity never ends. That's what makes "#OUCH!" both funny and frightening. A multimedia tour de force for a solo performer, this one-act is a sidesplitting romp through a tangle of red tape.
