When we first become parents, we don’t imagine ever being single parents. Regardless, this is where we are. Instead of evaluating God’s love based on your circumstances, evaluate your circumstances through the lens of God’s love. This is what it is to co-parent your children with God. Let God be the authoritative parent for your children. Establish the boundaries you know God is leading you to establish. Place your priorities where God is showing you to place them. Your prayer request is to hear his call and move in the direction he leads. This is a game changer. Instead of seeking the path to acclaim and earthly accomplishments, we seek what God values and wants for us and for our children. This is what provides the foundation for how you parent your children and who you teach them to turn to as the authority in their lives. God is calling us to invest in our children so they can become who God had in mind when he created them.
