Beschreibung

This volume focuses on the role of soil-structure-interaction and soil dynamics. It discusses case studies as well as physical and numerical models of geo-structures.  It covers: Soil-Structure-Interaction under static and dynamic loads, dynamic behavior of soils, and soil liquefaction.  It is hoped that this volume will contribute to further advance the state-of-the-art for the next generation infrastructure as a key to creating a sustainable community affecting our future well-being as well as the economic climate.
