When Lamir himself faces the greatest threat in the history of the Society of the Gifted due to Lutec, the Relentless, Hork gets help from his old friend Tobias Falk. The almost immortal man who only ages when he dies is an important ally in the fight for Lamir.
CD Sanders describes in her short story why it is so important for Hork to bring with his trained teams relief to a universe of chaos in times of the greatest distress.
