Using the combination of realism and romanticism, the book eulogized the heroic feat and noble character of the slaves and gladiators for the struggle for liberation, successfully portrayed the image of the leader of the slave uprising, Spartacus, and revealed the shameless and inhumane evil acts of the slave owner aristocrats.
