A Dream in Red Mansions is a novel written by Cao Xueqin in Qing Dynasty. Zhiyanzhai is an important critic of A Dream in Red Mansions. His comments are called "e;Zhiping"e; or "e;Zhipi"e; in the field of Redology, and the copy of Zhiyanzhai''s comments is called "e;Zhiben"e;. There are more than ten editions of Zhipi manuscripts, such as Jiaxu, Gengchen, Jimao, Mengfu, Jiachen, Qixu, Liezang, Jingzang and so on. This publication of A Dream in Red Mansions (a complete review of Zhiyanzhai) is a collection of all the comments of Zhiyanzhai in these editions, and presents the full picture of Zhiyanzhai to readers.
