Todo totalitarismo precisa de una utopía para poder existir, pero no toda utopía necesita de un totalitarismo. Como un auténtico oxímoron, partiendo de un grupo de humanos imperfectos, el ideal utópico pretende erigir un mundo diferente orientado hacia nuestra perfección. Desde la noche de los tiempos, el hombre vive insatisfecho entre dos utopías que le generan angustia e infelicidad; de un lado añora un mundo perdido, un mítico jardín del Edén donde en un pasado remoto fue feliz, más, de otro lado precisa elucubrar futuros que le saquen de sus connaturales apetencias animales y le sitúen en un mundo áureo que le haga olvidar su natural limitado y le proporcione la armonía y la felicidad que le falta y tanto ansía.
