La prima traduzione in lingua italiana del commento al Parmenide di Ficino (1433-1499) costituisce uno strumento fondamentale per comprenderne la portata: elemento di snodo all’interno della tradizione platonica e neoplatonica, il testo viene progressivamente elucidato dalla curatrice attraverso l’analisi e la discussione delle fonti che ne hanno ispirato la stesura. L’ampia introduzione all’opera offre un panorama articolato del dibattito sulla tradizione del Parmenide e, più in generale, sulla metafisica ficiniana.-----The first Italian translation of Ficino (1433-1499)’s Commentary on Plato’s Parmenides represents a fundamental instrument to understand the importance of this text. As an important junction of the Platonic and Neoplatonic tradition, this text is gradually illustrated by the editor through the analysis and discussion of the sources that inspired its composition. The introduction offers an articulated overview on the debate about the tradition of Parmenides and, more generally, on Ficino’s metaphysics.
