Il carteggio intercorso tra Cesare Pavese e Bianca Garufi consente di entrare nell’officina parallela e combinata dei due, getta luce su idee e difficoltà sottese alla scrittura, dà conto, passo passo, del divenire del romanzo a quattro mani Fuoco grande e dei Dialoghi con Leucò, fino a pubblicazione avvenuta. Di qui l’importanza e l’unicità di queste lettere, del tutto inedite quelle della Garufi, solo in parte edite e con omissis quelle di Pavese.-----The correspondence between Cesare Pavese and Bianca Garufi provides a full picture of their collaboration, shedding light on ideas and writing difficulties. The letters explain the development of Fuoco grande (written by four hands) and Dialoghi con Leucò, and give insight into their writing and publishing process. Hence the importance and unique value of these letters, which are either completely unpublished (Garufi) or only partially published, with omissions (Pavese).
