ITALIANO - Nel suo libro "Haiku rinasce nel colore", Pino Viscusi, pittore e letterato, affronta la poetica giapponese Haiku, in una serie di dipinti che contengono composizioni poetiche della consorte Lica Carbone, rievocanti l'amore. Cristina Dalla Costa scrive "...che Pino Viscusi e Lia Carbone hanno dato forma alla parola attraverso composizioni che potremmo chiamare "Haiku cromatici" "...in questo modo ilo loro testo si apre ad una duplice chiave di lettura: quella verbale e quella simbolica-grafica, nata dalla poesia stessa, ma che, isolata da essa diviene elemento astratto e autonomo...". Nel corso della sua evoluzione, la poesia visiva nei più diversi interpreti ha sviluppato una propria dimensione plastica: poesia e pittura si affrontano in un conflitto diretto tra rappresentazione della scrittura (come calligrafia) e interpretazione formale dei contenuti. Gli Haiku di Lia Carbone si uniscono ora al colore sulla tavolozza di Pino Viscusi, che compone il percorso grafico della scrittura alla ricerca dell'equilibrio formale tra la stesura coloristica e l'architettura degli spazi. INGLESE - In his book "Haiku reborn as colour", Pino Viscusi, a scholar and a painter, deals with Japanese Haiku poetry through a series of paintings that contain poems inspired by love, written by his wife Lia Carbone. Cristina Dalla Costa writes that "...Pino Viscusi and Lia Carbone have given life to a representation of poetry through compositions that we could rename 'chromatic haiku'". "...In this way, their text is open to a double interpretation: a verbal one and a visual one, born out of poetry, but at the same time abstract and independent from it..." Throughout its evolution, across its many interpretations visual poetry has acquired its own plastic dimension: poetry and painting have often faced each other in a direct duel, fought between the representation of words (calligraphy) and the formal interpretation of contents. Now, Lia Carbone's Haiku merge with colour on the palette of Pino Viscusi, who reproduces the visual journey of writing, on a quest for a formal balance between the use of colour and the architecture of space.
