Excerpt:

I have absolutely no idea how the hell it happened. One moment I was popping some free-use and the next I was standing in the middle of an intersection of some quaint, 50's town.

Just like that.

Bottle in hand, I peered around the deserted intersection and only stepped out of the road when someone in a black Ford honked at me.

"Can you tell me the year, good sir?" I asked, scratching my head and peering around like an idiot.

The guy pulled out his cigar, blew some smoke and shook his head. "It's 1952." Then he sped off like some loon.

My pulse quickened, my throat suddenly became dry and my vision faded. What in the Sam hell? This can't be! I was just in 2020! Then again, with the fucking virus and everything the way it was back home, maybe this wasn't the worst time-line to get stuck in.

Then I saw her:

A tall, gorgeous red-head bringing in groceries. Just like a good, 50's housewife. She was wearing a mini-skirt and looked in her early 20's. Nothing fancy.

But under her modest dress, she was an absolute stunner.

Forgetting all about my predicament, my knees began to quiver and my heart pounded in my chest.

Should I?

Could I get in trouble with messing around with other time-lines? Was there even a way back or would I be stuck here forever?

I saw another woman honk at her.

"Hey, Martha!" She called out. "Lovely weather, isn't it?"

My God, there were two of them! The other housewife was a stacked blonde babe, maybe a little older.

"Yes, it is!" Martha called back.

The two of them got to chatting and I waited until the red-head was all alone before following her in the house.

"Oh, I didn't see you there!" She put her hand to her heart and looked like she was going to faint. "May I help you? You look very out of place..."
