Beschreibung

“I’m sorry I wrote you such a long letter; I did not have time to write a short one.” In this way, Blaise Pascal started one of the most famous Provincial Letter, around 1656. Perhaps a comic strip starts from this concept: a humorist thorough long work, which captures only a few seconds of our attention, he manages to get a smile, puts you in a good mood and it becomes a door for human relation, and why not, even to talk about serious things, after “icebreaking”. This work, in its levity (as Calvino says lightness and non-banality), wants to stimulate the reasoning about the relationship between teenagers and parents. The key is a graphic gag… followed by a brief translation in texts that wants to encourage the thought with the help of some practical exercises. But we want to give you a suggestion: -before- read the comic strips, try to understand them, look beyond and try to contextualize them thinking about your children; -then- compare your thoughts to the printed ones. Devote some time, in our opinion it’s important, as, maybe, it’s important to try to laugh more with our children.
