The book has been divided into seven chapters which provide conceptual understanding on school dropouts, various National Policy & Programmes on Education in India, existing quantitative and qualitative views and emerging issues on school dropouts. Situational analysis of school dropouts has brought forward various vital issues to the forefront in a cumulative manner. In the end a synergetic Social Work Intervention Model has been developed highlighting interventions at various levels and with various groups. The book would provide a holistic view and a comprehensive perspective to the problem of school dropouts.
