Hospitality is the relationship between guest and host, or the act or practice of being hospitable. Specifically, this includes the reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers, resorts, membership clubs, conventions, attractions, special events, and other services for travellers and tourists. In the modern world, travelling is more centred to the annual holidays and can be fairly well predicted. The demand in international and even national transport infrastructures implies a very large number of people who wants to move in an efficient, fast and inexpensive manner. The aim of this book is to provide the reader with an understanding of the dynamics of catering, hospitality, aviation and tourism. This book covered a wide array of issues associated with workforce planning and employment. The complex maze of employment law, federal regulations and precedent case law was discussed. Concepts associated with affirmative action, equal employment opportunity and gender discrimination was introduced. These processes were fully introduced and discussed. This is accomplished through the process of job analysis. Processes and methods regarding job analysis were discussed. A useful book for management students and practitioners.
