Beschreibung

This is a sequel to my book “Chord Melody”: a collection of advanced-level harmonizations for 21 among the most famous and must-know standards for the jazz guitarist.
I harmonized them without a pre-built construction, in the most spontaneous way, pretending to be playing in a live concert.
I believe this to be important to develop the concepts I discussed in “Chord Melody Vol. 1”, aiming to become fast and practical in harmonizing any melody you want. If you get stuck in seeking fingerings, counterpoints and other complex concepts, you can end up with something interesting but not so spontaneous and probably not playable in other keys.
In this book you will find 21 “ready to play” standards with tablature, staff and video supports for each song, as a practical example of the Chord Melody technique.
My advice is to study the Volume 1 first, a method in which I explain step by step how to develop Chord Melody. In case you already have some technical / theoretical skills, you can access this second volume right away.
