I have heard people say that the main reason they want to work from home is that they can only work when they want to work. It is true that if you work from home, you can set your own working hours, but that does NOT mean that you do not need to have set working hours.
A hit or miss work plan ... or rather, the lack of a work plan just does not work. Time is of the essence! Your time!
Working from home can be very, very good. You can be at home to take the kids to school and be home when they get home. You can put a wash in and it can go through while you work.
You can have dinner cooked before a hungry family sinks down like a flock of hungry buzzards. All of these things are real benefits that you automatically get when you work from home.
Working from home can also be a very, very bad thing if you do not plan your time well and do not have a work schedule that you and your family can live with. When performing from home, time is of the essence.
You have to use the time you work very well. If you can not get things done efficiently, you either spend too much time at work or fail miserably in your home or business job.
You need to make a work plan for yourself if you work from home and then you need to enforce that work plan for yourself and insist that your family and friends also stick to your work plan
