In the first of an anticipated trilogy, destitute young witch Estella Porter must risk it all for a chance to save her father's life.

Estella's father becomes deathly ill and she vows to find a way to save his life. On her quest, she struggles against the forces of evil and the ticking clock of her father's life as she discovers more about her magic and unexpectedly prepares to overthrow the king.
