Beschreibung

This book contains eight chapters on environmental research. In chapter one the authors review the most recent advances in electrocoagulation reactor design and modeling that can establish electrocoagulation as an efficient hybrid electrocoagulation/electroflotation/electrodisinfection process for seawater pretreatment. The purpose of chapter two is to find an environmentally friendly management model for future generations. Chapter three examines the operational effects of land use change on land management, forest conservation and livelihoods in Kenyasi Municipality of Ghana. Chapter four explores the role of SE in ensuring a carbon-neutral society in Ghana. Relying on both primary and secondary data, the study found that Ghana is making frantic efforts through initiatives and policies to ensure that citizens develop a taste for sustainable electronics despite the enormous challenges. In chapter five a literature review methodology and papers from the Forestry Research and Development Agency (FORDA) were used to summarize the use of silvicultural practices in the successful development of peatland agroforestry, the socio-economic benefits of these practices, and carbon sink contribution. In chapter six being and other being are considered as the basis for constructing a system of nature and the ecological processes occurring in it. Chapter seven focuses on the Papua province in eastern Indonesia and uses 'political ecology' as a theoretical analytical framework that emphasizes the role of stakeholder movements and ideas on the issue of agarwood and development. In the final chapter, approaches to vortical flows visualization with the usage of gradients of scalar and vector fields are discussed.
