This is the story of Doodle. She was a strong girl, but sometimes she worried too much. Imagining worst-case scenarios kept her from trying new things and enjoying new experiences. Doodle didn't want to worry so much. She didn't want to miss out on fun things. But she didn't know how to overcome her fears. Then one day, with the help of someone special, Doodle discovered a Magic Pebble. Doodle's adventures with the Magic Pebble helped her see things differently and find the courage to overcome her worries.
The story follows Doodle through a series of challenging events on the first day at her new school. Doodle is met with nearly all the possibilities she feared most, but with the help of the Magic Pebble, finds the adventure in each challenge and grows in the process. The day culminates in the thing Doodle feared the most, the worst thing possible, but realizes at that moment she has everything she needs inside her to tackle her worries.
Doodle and the Magic Pebble combines an entertaining journey with a powerful message for anyone who has let fear hold them back. Though intended for children, adults too can benefit from this meaningful story.
