Paley Curtis, now fifteen and accepting of the fact that she has no talent in a world where everyone has a super-power, grinds through a summer job with a mysterious company spying on her every move. The days pass by as she learns about those with "super" talents and who has control over them. The persistence of the corporation-which has become too powerful in its capture and detention of super talented people-drives Paley to find clever ways to evade her trackers, while spying back on her personal spies.
