But going with him means venturing deep into the unforgiving wastes where the ruins of the old world are said to lay. But no one goes there. It's suicide. The stories say the land is toxic and anything living there is as twisted and horrific as the searing legacy that birthed them.
For Adina, choosing between her unbridled feelings for the extraordinary stranger who saved her life or dying alone in the wastelands is simple. Whatever horrors or challenges may lie ahead, they will face them together.
