Readers follow the duo as they share everyday adventures. Lynette learns Prickle is way more fun than she ever imagined. But will she ever get the beloved pet she longs for, you’ll have to read to find out.
Prickle is a whimsical story that teaches responsibility while making the most of unexpected circumstances. No matter what, Lynette keeps an optimistic mindset. She makes the most of her prickly situation and proves she has what it takes to care for a pet. Sometimes life gets prickly, but we have to keep growing.
This story was inspired by a class pet Cactus. The children who inspired this story accepted the responsibility of caring for their cactus. Spike currently resides in room 10.
