Paula Carnell was at the peak of her career as a professional artist. After twenty years of painting, exhibiting, a greeting card business and her own Art Gallery when disaster struck. One morning unable to move, and remained mainly bed and then wheelchair bound for the next seven years. After six years she was finally diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos syndrome, with little hope of recovery. With the help of a Medical Herbalist, plant based minerals, and her bees, she managed a full recovery and combines the herbs, minerals and bees with her travels to discover where the bees and humans are living together healthily. Studying herbal medicine, honey sensory analysis and bees has led her to develop her business 'Creating a Buzz about Health' . With her 'bee team' Paula works educating the public through talks and classes about what exactly is killing the bees and shares her learnings through these fifty short tales.
