Beschreibung

Brother Elijah is the founder of Soul for Christ Ministry, Inc., a community support organization serving, primarily, the mentally ill and homeless individuals. Since the birth of the ministry in 1999, supportive services have been extended to the elderly, single parents, low income couples, troubled teenagers, those struggling with depression, all kinds of addiction, legal issues, and anyone who is hurting and reaching out for help.

Between 1999 and the present, Soul for Christ Ministry, Inc has transformed itself to an ';Institute for Human Enhancement.' Our mission is to help bridge the gap between individuals and their unmet needs while at the same time educating individuals so that they can work toward the goal of self sufficiency.

Our methods and/or interventions include providing nutritional foods, affordable housing, life skills training, behavioral counseling, cognitive restructuring, GED preparation classes for those needing it, basic computer training for those that can benefit from it, job training, job placement, financial literacy, Bible studies and prayers for those desiring spiritual growth. Soul for Christ Ministry, Inc. is not fostering dependency but, to the contrary, the ministry strengthens the whole person: body, soul, and spirit.
