This is the story of the shared experience of baby boomers as seen through one boomer's eyes from small town life on a picturesque Midwestern lake through the Vietnam experience and disillusionment and eventually finding a place in life. Personal anecdotes punctuate commentary on major news events and politics. Deeply affected by the 9-11 tragedy, the author soon found himself in the Middle East during a very troubled period. Later adventures took him to eastern Europe and east Asia.
