Essay from the year 2024 in the subject Physics - Theoretical Physics, , language: English, abstract: The current reductionist space-time paradigm faces numerous dilemmas, from reconciling quantum mechanics with general relativity to explaining consciousness. This paper proposes the Phi Connectome (PC) as a novel paradigm to address these issues. Unlike Turing computation, the PC operates as a Gödel Non-Turing/Non-Algorithmic Phase-Shift Computation System (GNPSCS), embodying a fractal 'Gödel computer'. It transcends spacetime, forming a dynamical Nash equilibrium and potentially explaining the principle of least action. In this paradigm, consciousness precedes matter, with spacetime emerging from the projection of the PC. Our known laws of physics are scale-invariant projections of the multidimensional fractal PC onto 4-dimensional spacetime. This paradigm shift offers insights into phenomena like entanglement, thermodynamics, and causality, challenging our conventional understanding of reality.
