The author challenges the narrative presented by colonialism, distorting the view of Arabs and Africans and the relationship between them, establishing stereotypes in the process. Through ethnographic experience and academic scientific research, the writer establishes a narrative entirely different to that of the Western world.

Not just a travel journey, this work is a contemplative testimony toward the discovery of the other and the self.
