Once upon a time in ancient Babylon, there was a very rich man named Arkad. He was the richest man in the whole city.
One day, two of his childhood friends asked him how he had managed to accumulate so much wealth while they toiled all day, barely managing to feed their families.
Arkad smiled at him and replied that in exchange for his work as a scribe, a rich man had revealed to him the secret to achieving wealth.
The secret was, "A portion of everything you earn belongs to you."
In other words, you don't have to squander everything you earn, but rather invest it and do it wisely.
