When a dead woman is found floating in the pool of a fashionable Fort Lauderdale home, police lieutenant Kenneth Kelly already knows this isn’t going to be a simple homicide. It seems someone is still looking for the formula and the money. So when the dead woman’s husband wants answers and a PI, Kelly calls in Jake Wayde, who worked the previous case. Rhineman’s son, Jeffery, has disappeared and is on the run: He’s reneged on a deal to sell the deadly formula to Middle Eastern operatives. And since he’s now suspected of having both the formula and the cash, Kelly and Wayde need to find Jeffery before the vengeful Palestinians and Iranians do.
The FBI soon becomes involved as Wayde and Kelly race to follow the twisting trail of clues—and dead bodies—that may lead to Jeffery’s whereabouts. Can they stay one step ahead of the killers, find Jeffery, and keep the deadly chemical formula from falling into the wrong hands?
