The CIA has a problem. One of its senior members - an Assistant Deputy Director (ADDI) - is suspected of being involved in drug trafficking. The CIA Inspector General cannot use its own staff to investigate out of the risk that it will alert those involved. With assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Mark Taylor an ex-Special Forces officer follows the ADDI on a trip to Afghanistan in an attempt to find the truth. This story involves the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service as they desperately try to protect a mole in the US, and the British MI6 who will not commit to what they know. The US FBI also get involved with deadly results.
