In Kenya a voice from the past provides a dramatic opportunity to engage.Back in the UK, a superficial affair with a woman colleague blossoms into a more intense relationship.Pete and James are given an assignment covering the millennium and James takes the opportunity to engage with his near neighbours.Alongside this project comes a dangerous engagement with Kenyan politics and an uncomfortable relationship with another office colleague.Through these links James finds himself more engaged with the world. Will his newfound contacts encourage James to become a more rounded human being?
