The Critical Case is about the disappearance of a patient from a hospital in a horrifying and thrilling mystery drama. There is a picture of the man in the file, Argan Gregor. A convict from the Eastern Prison suffered a heart attack and was carried there urgently. He stayed at the hospital for two days and vanished without a trace. The obvious assumption would be that he escaped, but there was no sign of him ever leaving the hospital. The hospital is anxious about closing the matter as it will invariably damage its reputation.
